Al-Intisar

Al-Intisar is a book in fiqh which includes regulations that exclusively or inclusively belong to Imamiyyah. The book includes more than ۳۱۹ fiqh issues.

The book is important both historically and scientifically because it is the most ancient Shia book in fiqh which has dealt with some disputed issues and has presented different viewpoints concerning these issues; furthermore, it has provided a firm basis and strong arguments for the Imamiyyah fiqh. The recent jurists, such as Shaykh Tusi and ‘Allamih Helli, have followed this approach, and they have established their juridical writings on this basis.

In this book, Sharif Murtada has mentioned some of his writings including Masa’il Abi ‘Abdullah ibn al-Taban, Masa’il al-Khilaf, Masa’il Ahl al-Mousil, Masa’il al-Tirablousiyyah and Usul Figh.

SayyidMurtada wrote al-Intisar after ۴۲۰ AH.[۱]

The book was printed through lithography in Iran for two times: first in ۱۲۷۵ AH along with al-Jawami’ al-Fiqhiyyah, and next in ۱۳۱۵ AH separately.
